Millions of account details have been stolen via a hack on battle.net, the account management and access system used in games such as World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3. The compromised accounts relate to those on the North American servers (which generally includes players from North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia).
The attack occurred on 4th August and was reported on 9th August following work to re-secure the network. Further details can be found via the following links…
