About this Forum

RANT is proud to be working together with our brilliant partners TrapX and Performanta to host a RANT after party on the evening of the second day of InfoSec after the exhibition hall is closed. The Beaconsfield pub is around a 3 minute walk from the exhibition hall and we have booked out the entire venue for the duration of the evening.

Speakers:

Carl Wright, Executive Vice President, TrapX

Wright is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with experience in the security, storage, virtualization, and software sectors. Prior to joining TrapX he held executive operational roles at Securify, Decru, and Kidaro, where he contributed to rapid growth and subsequent acquisition by, respectively, Microsoft, Network Appliance, and Secure Computing. He has extensive experience in all aspects of enterprise information technology deployments and has held key IT operational roles, including chief information security officer for the U.S. Marine Corps. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Augsburg College and a master’s degree in information technology management from the Naval Postgraduate School. In 1999, he was awarded the National Security Agency’s Frank B. Rowlett Trophy for Worldwide Information Security Professional of the year by General Michael Hayden (U.S. Air Force Ret.).

Lior Arbel, CTO, Performanta

Lior Arbel is the Chief Technology Officer of Performanta Ltd a specialist information security firm, securing enterprise businesses from the latest modern security threats.  With over 20 years’ experience gained in IT, specialising in data governance and security, Lior is responsible for leading the information security services provided by the company in the UK. Arbel is driven by the need to continously remain abreast of the dynamically evolving threat landscape and the satisfaction attained by ensuring customers solutions are practical. This hands on approach to security allows him to lead the team, helping customers to understand the need for data security solutions and the best practices for implementing such solutions.
